Pills Blamed - Marilyn Monroe
Pills Blamed ft Marilyn Monroe places a faded newspaper front page inside a deep green field. The headline is held in stillness, partly covered by bright blue forms and coloured circles.
The central image brings together a bombshell and the pills linked to Marilyn Monroe’s death. The forms feel vivid and almost playful, but they carry the weight of a story reduced to newsprint.
This piece belongs to The Last Headline collection, reflecting on fame, beauty, public detail and the images that keep returning long after the person is gone.
