Postage & Returns

We want you to be a completely happy and satisfied customer of Bravespears so we offer a full and comprehensive postage plus returns and refunds policy. Please read our policy fully so that you understand how we can help you have beautiful art at home with complete peace of mind. 

UK DELIVERY

DELIVERY IS FREE ON ALL ORDERS OVER £70.00.

ORDERS UNDER £70.00 WILL BE CHARGED A £9.50 SHIPPING FEE.

If a parcel is returned to us via DPD and delivery has to be attempted for a second time you will need to pay the delivery fee of £9.50. Delivery is only free on orders over £70 on the first delivery attempt.

UK items will be sent via DPD/Royal Mail with next day delivery and the relevant level of insurance and proof of purchase. For large or heavy items or parcels we may use UPS. In this case we will contact you beforehand to arrange a suitable delivery date.

We aim to have all unframed print orders delivered within 3 working days.

In some cases where items are made to order, delivery may take longer than usual. Please bear in mind most items are handmade one-offs or from small editions so we may sell out of certain items at particularly busy periods. In this case we will advise you of a delivery date.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Shipping to non UK countries will be sent via UK Mail overseas parcel services. Insurance will be obtained for goods.

Please note that shipment to non UK countries may be subject to import duties and tax. Additional charges must be paid by the customer. Bravespears of London has no control over these charges and bears no responsibility.

Sadly framed artwork cannot be shipped internationally.

If you wish to return any artwork you are responsible for returning the print on a tracked service. Once the artwork has been received we will issue you a refund minus the original shipping fee.

LOST ITEMS

If your item does not arrive within 7 days of dispatch for UK and 14 days for rest of the world, please contact us in case delivery has been delayed.

Items returned to us by the postal service marked as not called for or unclaimed by the receiver will require additional postage costs to be paid before we can resend.

We cannot be held responsible if a parcel has gone missing due to the postal address being filled in incorrectly or missing important information. However, if we notice the address is incomplete, we will contact you before dispatch.

Risk of loss passes to you once the item has been passed to the carrier (Royal Mail or UPS).

For any missing items or issue with delivery you have 28 days with which to contact us to discuss. After this point we cannot refund or replace the missing items.

 

FRAMED ORDERS

All of our frames are made to order, when purchasing please note that framed prints can take up to two weeks to arrive from the date of purchase.

 

Returns Policy

All products sold at Bravespears  are verified by us as the genuine article.

Bravespears is confident you will be satisfied with your purchase however if not, please return the piece within 14 days of receipt and in the original condition. If you have any problems with your order or wish to cancel/exchange any items, please contact us at bravespear@bravespears.com in the first instance to arrange the return of your artwork(s). Artworks should be returned to the gallery at the following address:

Bravespears cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to returned goods whilst in transit.

If you do choose to return any item by post, we recommend using a reputable, tracked parcel delivery or courier service.

BREAKAGES & DAMAGED ITEMS

If any item arrives damaged please contact us immediately and keep the item and packaging used. Please photograph the damaged item and email us, we will discuss options: bravespear@bravespears.com. A replacement will be dispatched after we have either received the damaged item or after advice from your courier. Please wait for our instructions before returning the item to us.

For faulty items please return the goods to us within 14 days with receipt. We will offer a replacement or refund the cost of the item. In some cases the print you purchased may no longer be available as once an edition is sold out it cannot be reproduced. If this is the case you will be refunded.

 

Refunds Policy

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your artwork(s), you are entitled cancel your purchase and receive either a refund or exchange the items for store credit (of equal value).

To qualify for an exchange or refund, the artwork(s) must be returned to us in mint condition, within the original packaging and accompanied by an original proof of purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

Shipped artworks can be returned to us via post and will refunded minus the shipping and packaging cost.

Please note that we recommend not opening your print until you take it to a framer to ensure it is only handled by experienced art handlers. And if you do find your print to be not to your taste, we strongly recommend you ask a framer or other art handler to roll it back up for you to return, as often in the re-rolling stage, they can sustain damage, and you will not qualify for a refund.

All orders found to be faulty or not as described will be refunded in full.

Please note that we cannot offer a returns policy for our framing service. Frames are bespoke made according to our customers’ requirements and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged.

All refunds will be processed in GBP. We cannot be held accountable to changes in exchange rates.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
