What Bravespears says about this artwork
Everything's gonna be alright (Bravespear_050619) is the first in my new collection of limited edition Riso printed collages. Each is motivated by successful and/or ongoing resistance movements that I feel a connection with.
This first one is inspired by feminism and the ongoing struggle for women’s equality. Ultimately upbeat in mood this work makes use of symbolism, colour, positioned elements and text. Through the interplay of all these elements it asks the viewer to engage in the issue and also ask further questions regarding the patriarchy and it’s subjugation of women everywhere.
Love, peace and equality for all
